An event placed Under the High Auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture. The event
The organization of triennial meetings of woman creators in the framework of regional festivals open to all fields of creative activities is a long-term project, unique at European and world levels altogether, which started in 1997.
The high artistic value of the festivals was given paramount recognition. Indeed, the First Festival was included in the official program marking the nomination of Thessaloniki as "Cultural Capital of Europe", the Second Festival was included among UNESCO Millennium Celebrations and the Third Festival is to be one item on the list of celebrations dedicated by Greece to UNESCO Sixtieth Anniversary.
The Festivals "Woman Creators of the Two Seas, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea" stirred great interest and anticipation among the artists and the audience, as well. This testifies of the success of our work towards the preservation of cultural diversity, towards the boosting of women's participation in cultural development. Place and date
